Have been coming here since the 90s. The man at the desk has always be pleasant and helpful. The food has always been on time, piping hot, delicious and there has always been enough for everyone. We usually buy a mix and share. Makes it even more enjoyable.

Chicken in the sweet and sour Cantonese was very tough, very hard to cut and chew. Sweet and sour balls were very measley in size for the price and the sweet and sour sauce in general wasn't very nice which you didn't get much of either making the food dry. Only thing decent was the chips. Not going here any time soon.

£5.40 for what can only be described as a kiddies portion of over cooked chips and a tub of gloopy curry sauce.
Baring in mind that the chips were £2,80 so £2.60 for curry sauce.
Absolute extortion at its best.
Call yourself salt bae if your going to sell over priced, less than average food ffs

Very pleased with the food here, quality excellent and flavoursome. Some people mention portion sizes but I found it adequate and I'm a big eater. Usually use a Chinese nearer me but definitely worth the extra drive.

Read some reviews that said about poor portion size and not much meat in chow main. But I couldn't disagree more!
Great quality and quality and had a big ratio of mean in my chow main.
It tasted amazing, and the price was pretty decent, too.
Guy behind the counter made me laugh, gave us wooden folks and we asked if they had any chopsticks. He said no, and was genuinely shocked that someone would ask for them instead of a folk 🤣

Expensive,not full portions & in my sweet & sour Cantonese chicken there was more pineapple than meat ! Fried rice was just that not egg fried rice.Daughter liked the chips though.

So the food was nice, I am not here to complain about the quality of food, bar the spring rolls, they literally had no filling whatsoever. The portion sizes are an absolute joke! I should have been given half price because I only got half the food! Like, who only half fills a container and tho me that’s acceptable. Never again.

Just had a chinese from here for the first time (i always use one in oakengates) Golden City cost £10 less in total for the same food and the food was 100 times better. Easily the best chinese iv ever had so will always be using this chinese in the future

Just had the Crispy Beef with Egg Fried Rice (Paid extra because of the rise in the price of eggs!). The Beef was all gristle and inedible (it went in the bin) and I got plain Fried Rice NOT Egg Fried Rice that cost extra. Complete RIP OFF.

Food was cooked nice house special fried rice was not greasy nor was the chicken balls but the house special curry was disappointing dew to the lack of meat and prawns also there was no fortune cookie which is something I look forward too 😅 prawn crackers I had to buy extra which with other Chinese places I have had a free bag with orders over £20 I would not be buy from here in a hurry.
